One of the topics discussed was the high dropout rate at Jones High School, a notable African American school in Orlando. It was decided that a committee would be appointed to attend a PTA meeting at the school. It was also decided that a luncheon would be held on June 4, 1959, and the wives of the clergymen would be invited.
