<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Geneva Elementary School around 1950. The brick school house was designed by Elton J. Moughton and constructed in 1924 at 101 East Main Street in Geneva, Florida. The building had three classrooms, an office, and an auditorium to serve grades one through twelve. In the 1940s, the building became Geneva Elementary School. A unique 4-H program was established in 1941 by the school's principal, Willie Sieg. The program encompassed courses on home economics and farming, and also won various awards. In May 1988, a new campus for the elementary school was built at 275 First Street. The original building was dedicated in 1955 as the Geneva Family Resource Center. In 2008, the building was converted into the Rural Heritage Center and is listed on the Florida Site File of Historic Places, as well as the Seminole County Threatened and Endangered Resources List.]]></dcterms:description>
