Minutes of Charter Meeting, February 20, 1958
First Unitarian Church of Orlando
The Orlando Ministerial Association's minutes of a charter meeting on February 20, 1958. The meeting was held at Temple Israel in Winter Springs, Florida. The association was founded with the purpose of being "open to all clergymen of Orlando regardless of faith or race or creed" and to "attempt to meet the challenge and development of Orlando, with its concomitant social, moral and religious problems, through the unified thinking and action of all religious leaders". The document lists the charter members and the elections of officers. The minutes were recorded by John C. Fuller of the First Orlando Unitarian Church, who was the secretary of the association at this time. There are handwritten edits on both documents.
