An oral history interview of Joel Strack, one of the founding members of the Orlando Gay Chorus. The interview was conducted by Tyler Campbell in the conference room at the Center for Humanities and Digital Research (CHDR) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, on September 26th, 2016. Some of the topics covered include founding the Orlando Gay Chorus, naming the chorus, the initial community reaction, women in the chorus, the evolving relationship with the community, becoming a mixed vocal group, hearing about the shooting at Pulse nightclub, vigils, outreach events and fundraisers, coping and seeking counseling, the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA) Festival, the Orlando community’s response to the Pulse tragedy, the long-term impact on the Gay Chorus and the Orlando community, and an increase in membership.

A t-shirt for the music venue and bar, Fern Park Station. Also known as The Station at Fern Park, the bar was located at 140 Fernwood Boulevard in Casselberry. The former hard rock club with 1980s décor hosted local and national acts. While acting as drummer for the Orlando-based rock band, Dorian Gray, Jani Lane, who would go on to international fame as the lead vocalist for the glam rock band, Warrant, performed his vocal debut at the venue. The Station closed around 2003.

A t-shirt for the bar/nightclub Saint & Sinners Pub. The pub is part of Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona Complex, which is an internationally recognized commercial and residential real estate complex in Ormond Beach, Florida. In addition to Saints & Sinners, the complex includes Rossmeyer's Harley-Davidson showroom, several retail shops, restaurants, and a luxury hotel. The complex is a popular tourist destination, especially during Daytona's Bike Week. The Saints & Sinners Pub is located at 1635 North U.S. Highway 1.

The former location of Kiddie Korner, a children's store that was also know as Kiddie Shoppe. The store was opened by Nat Berman and Pauline Berman at 66 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, Florida, in the early 1930s. The shoppe later expanded to a larger location to sell junior clothing as well. At the time that this photograph was taken in 2014, the building was housing three nightclubs: Skysixty, Bar BQ Bar, and Independent Bar (known locally as iBar). The former two bars changed ownership in August of 2014 and were renammed Sky Bar and Old '64, respectively.
