Transportation in the Celery City

This section highlights the transition in transporation within the Sanford area between the years 1877 and 1913. The city of Sanford originally served as an important point of embarkation for steamships along the St. John's River, and later as an equally significant terminus for the Atlantic Coast Line and Central Florida Railroad.
