THE RETURN OF MILES O’ROURKE
WILL DRAW BIG CROWD AT K. C. HALL TONIGHT
Judging from the advance sale of tickets for the second showing of the “Return of Miles O’Rourke” that takes place tonight for the last time at the K. of C. hall, the house will be over crowded and unless you are early, not only seating space but standing room as well will be at a premium.
This play, which was written by Father Hennessy, was shows last Spring and proved so popular that many very urgent requests were made for the second showing. Father Hennessy has changed the play some, added other scenes, and made a change or two in the cast.
The writer witnessed the dress rehearsal last night and can assure the patrons of this show that it is well worth the time and small prices asked, and that if it does not please, it will be because you are extra hard to please.
The cast of characters includes some very good talent amongst the Sanford people and they have all been well trained under the personal supervision of Father Hennessy and will put off the play just as would be expected of regular actors and actresses.
The curtain goes up to 8:15 sharp, and between each act there will be vaudeville numbers that are bound to please. If you haven’t as yet got your ticket, do it at once as the last minute may be too late as last spring more people tried more people tried to see the play than the hall would hold.
Father Hennessy will take the play to Leesburg Saturday, where it will be shown in the High school auditorium, and he will later play Orlando, DeLand, Eustis and other nearby points. But tonight is your last chance to see it in Sanford.
