Bronze Table [sic] To Be Unveiled By Jews To
Mrs. Moses’ Memory
Unveiling of a bronze tablet in memory of Mrs. A. H. Moses takes place tomorrow evening at 8 p. m. at a special service to be held at the Sanford Jewish congregation __ community center on ____ ___nt, according to an announcement today by Perry Weinberg, president of the congregation.
The tablet will be a tribute to Mrs. Moses in whose name her husband, A. H. Moses, prominent commission merchant, last year contributed a large sum of money which made possible the construction of the community center.
Tomorrow nights program will be opened by a short talk by Mr. Weinburg followed by Louis Bandel of Leesburg, who will be master of ceremonies and who will deliver an eulogy to Mrs. Moses. Several vocal selections will be rendered by Mrs. Rex Racoosin accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Fred Newman.
A reading, “A Tribute to Womanhood” will be given by Mrs. Lillian Richmond of Orlando. Rabbi J. Berson will pronounce the benediction.
A large crowd of interested friends of members of the local congregation is expected to be present from Orlando. In addition, a cordial invitation was extended today to Sanford ctizens [sic] to attend.
