Resilience: Remembering Pulse

Citizen Curator: Keri Watson, Assistant Professor, School of Visual Arts & Design, University of Central Florida

In commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the UCF Art Gallery presents photographs, quilts, paintings, films, and installations that respond to the tragedy and exemplify themes of remembrance, resilience, and resistance. Featuring work by students, faculty, staff, and community members, the exhibition celebrates the lives of the victims, engages with social and political issues, and demonstrates the power of love to triumph over hate.
