First Unitarian Church of Orlando
Minutes of two monthly meetings of the Orlando Ministerial Association. The meetings were held on December 5, 1958, and January 19, 1959. The record of the December meeting was written by acting secretary J. E. Williams. It was conducted at the Y.M.C.A., and Bill Briggs, the religion editor of the Orlando Sentinel, was present. A letter from the Martin Company inviting the Orlando Ministerial Association to attend a lunch at the plant was accepted. The meeting concluded with Rabbi Shwartz reading excerpts from "Only in America" by Harry Golden. The readings, which pertained to the racial situation in the south, were positively received by the members in attendance. The record of the January meeting was authored by John C. Fuller. It reported on the Orlando Ministerial Association's tour of the Martin Company's plant.
