On the back of the postcard is a handwritten message addressed to R. J. Oliver at 88 Murray St. in Binghampton, New York. The message reads, "7/10/35 The ale is fair here. [Mele]".

This postcard is part of a private collection kept by Roger Hipel of St. Cloud, Florida.
