A newspaper article published by The Central Florida Press on June 20, 1930. The article describes plans for a logrolling convention to be held in Orlando, with 5,000 delegates expected to attend. The convention was hosted by the Central Florida Log Rollers' Association, which was a branch of the Woodmen of the World, on July 3-4, 1930. Logrolling was a sport in which two athlete would stand on the end of a log of wood floating in water. The competitors would then attempt to sprint and kick the log until his/her opponent would fall off.
