Description

The headstone of Sergeant Marion C. Fordham Jr. who lived in Tampa, Florida when he enlisted into the United States Army on November 13th 1942. He fought in the 397th infantry division of the 100th infantry regiment until his death on November 12th 1944. Sgt. Marion C. Fordham Jr. was killed in the fighting outside of the town of Baccarat during the Vosges Mountains campaign. He received the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy and is currently buried at Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial in Dinozé, France.
