Memorandum

To: Mary Monroe
From: Harry Smith
Congratulations on the accomplishments in your production of The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail. We are especially pleased with the degree of public enthusiasm the production seems to have generated.
It is my understanding from the “University Theater Staff” that you will be the designer of the next student production, Another Part of the Forest. I urged you to consult with me at your earliest convenience about the design plans so the last week in April. I am sure you understand the necessity for early planning such an elaborate project.
Thank you very much.
