Rabbi Kaplan Will
Speak At Opening
Of Jewish Temple
Rabbi Kaplan of Jacksonville, one of the most noted speakers in the southeast, has accepted an invitation to make the principal address at the dedication services of the new Beth Israel Temple Thursday night at 8 o’clock.
The Rabbi has spoken in Central Florida on several occasions and a large audience has heard him each time. His popularity as a speaker has extended over the whole south during the past few years and he has been on many of the programs given in some of the larger universities and before various club and church organization.
Arrangements for the dedication are almost complete and the full program will probably be announced tomorrow. The new temple is being decorated for the occasion by the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Beth Israel congregation.
Elaborate decorations are being assembled and ample seating facilities installed for the large crowd of Sanford citizens which is expected to attend.
Every minister in the city has been invited to have a place on the program and every denomination will be represented in the audience. People from all sections of central Florida are expected to attend.
