Description
Postcard depicting the Francisco Building which houses a pharmacy Zephyrhills, Florida. The building was owned by innovator Waldo M. Francisco and was the first block structure in town in 1911. Francisco was also the first to have electricity in the town and developed a power plant for Zephyrhills. On the second story balcony, two women are standing posing for the photo. On the back of the postcard is a handwritten message addressed to Miss Clara Held at 329 Wood Street in Johnstown, PA. The message reads, "Zephyrhills Jan. 18, 1913. Dear Clara, We are here for the day. Will leave soon. It is a [...] 12 [mi] from San Antonio. We are well. This is drug store we shopped. Hotel across the street. Will write a little to-night. Best regards to all, G.F."
