Description
The assembly of the AS-500F (also called Facilities Integration Vehicle) full-scale mock-up of the Apollo/Saturn V launch verification vehicle. The AS-500F was used to verify assembly methods, the use of the crawler-transporter to move the vehicle to the launch pad and test vehicle fueling.
