Description
Mary "Lona" Lenora Aulin (b. 1924) as May Queen in honor of the 1942 May Day holiday, celebrating the coming of spring. Aulin was the daughter of Emma Leonora Lawton Aulin (1853-1907) and Andrew Aulin, Sr. (1843-1918), the Swedish immigrant credited with naming the town of Oviedo, Florida. She married Llewellyn "Lew" Roberts Bartlett, Jr. (b. 1921) and had four children: Patricia Eileen Bartlett (b.1948), Alice Irene Bartlett (b.1949), Margaret Ellyn Bartlett (b.1954), and Nancy Ann Bartlett (b.1959).
