Orlando Ministerial Association Minutes of Monthly Meeting

First Unitarian Church of Orlando

Minutes of a monthly meeting of the Orlando Ministerial Association. The meeting was held on December 3, 1959, at the Y.M.C.A. in Orlando, Florida. The matter of a possible amalgamation of the two local ministerial associations was discussed. The status of the organization's project in regard to the United Appeal was discussed. Reverend Jupiter reported that following their protest to the Appeal concerning the "Negro Division" and double solicitation of Negro working people, this year's arrangement presented no change in the situation whatsoever. It was decided that a special committee make a return visit to the Appeal to ask why something was not done as agreed upon.
