A mounted reproduction of the dedication page from the 1953 B-Cean, the Bethune-Cookman College yearbook, honoring Harold V. Lucas Sr., affectionately known as "Bro Luke." The dedication describes Lucas as the first man employed by the college as a teacher, credits him with organizing the Business Department at Bethune-Cookman College and Campbell High School, and recognizes 32 years of service to the college. D’Lorah Anderson states that the page was from Harold V. Lucas Jr.’s yearbook, that Harold Sr. wrote a shorthand message to his son on the page, and that Harold Jr. later copied the page and had it mounted. The shorthand message has not been transcribed.
