The Harold V. Lucas, Jr. Legacy Project Collection documents the life, family, and legacy of Harold V. Lucas, Jr. of Daytona Beach, Florida. The collection includes photographs, audiovisual materials, oral histories, and other historical materials relating to Lucas, his family, education, athletics, military service, community involvement, and longstanding connections to Bethune-Cookman University and the Daytona Beach community. Materials in the collection also document members of the Lucas family, including his parents, Harold V. Lucas, Sr. and Althea Beatrice Cato Lucas. The collection was established through a partnership between the Harold V. Lucas, Jr. Foundation and the RICHES Digital Archiving Project at the University of Central Florida.
