Envelope from Haedji to Kamitsos

Orlando (Fla.)

A letter sent from Perrios Haedji to John Kamitsos. On the front are three unique stamps with Greek words along with three seals from the Downtown Orlando Post Office approving the letter. Kamitsos' ethnic background was Greek, as his father immigrated from Greece to Orange City, Florida. There, his father met and married Geneva Kamitsos, who gave birth to John on March 3, 1933. Later in his life, Kamitsos moved to Orlando and landed a job as the head of the Orlando Remembered project, which seeks to chronicle the history of Orlando.
