Hurricane Frances, 2004
A newspaper announcement published in The Oviedo Voice on September 16, 2004. The announcement postpones the Harvest Jamboree that was scheduled to be held by a local church on October 1-2. The event was postponed due to damage from Hurricane Charley and Hurricane Frances. Charley hit Florida in August and Frances hit the state in September. Together, the two hurricanes cost the state billions of dollars in damage.
