This is the headstone of Solomon Sturdivant, located in Plot B Row 28 Grave 15 at Epinal American Cemetery in Dinozé, France. PFC Solomon Sturdivant was born to James and Mary Sturdivant on April 25, 1915 in Wytheville, Virginia. He was drafted by the US Army on December 29, 1942. During World War II, he served as a member of the 231st AAA Searchlight Battalion. He was killed March 5, 1945. He is one of 85 Florida residents interned at Epinal.
