Class Break Show

Description

Construction of the FTU campus began before its opening classes in 1968, however, following its opening, and up to the present day, it underwent and has undergone constant development. The 1,227 acre campus now bolsters itself as the largest University in the United States.

Pictured in this newspaper clipping is a new student taking a break and watching the construction of an "administrative building," what is now Millican Hall. This article also points to unusual serenity experienced and lack of student protests, as seen at universities elsewhere in America.
