May Museum of Tropics

Owner John May had this fiberglass sculpture of a hercules beetle created to entice Weeki Wachee Springs visitors to the museum. The May Museum operated at Weeki Wachee for a little over a decade, from 1950 until ABC purchased Weeki Wachee.
